Senior DevOps Engineer

Summary

Join Squadio, a global remote-first IT service provider, as a skilled Oracle DevOps Engineer. You will manage and streamline the deployment, integration, and automation of Oracle-based applications and infrastructure, building CI/CD pipelines and maintaining Oracle environments. The ideal candidate possesses hands-on experience with Oracle databases, DevOps tools (Jenkins, Ansible, Terraform), and cloud platforms (Oracle Cloud Infrastructure, AWS, or Azure). Strong scripting and automation skills are essential. This role requires proficiency with Docker and containerization, Linux systems, and shell scripting. Experience with cloud architecture, high availability, and security best practices is also necessary.

Requirements

• Be proficient with Docker and containerization
• Have experience with virtual machines and virtualization platforms
• Have a strong command of Linux systems and shell scripting
• Have an understanding of cloud architecture, scalability, and cost optimization, with hands-on experience with cloud providers (AWS, Azure, GCP)
• Have experience with GitHub Actions and CI/CD automation
• Have experience with high availability and replication for databases (e.g., PostgreSQL)
• Have knowledge of load balancing and failover setups
• Be able to deploy and manage Node.js and React apps in scalable environments
• Be familiar with Nginx, HAProxy, or cloud-native load balancers
• Have experience with monitoring and logging tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, ELK)
• Have basic experience with JavaScript (Node.js and React)
• Be familiar with security best practices (network, cloud, CI/CD)
• Have experience with version control and Git workflows
