Summary

Join Experian, a world-leading information services company, as a DevOps Engineer. This permanent, home-based role in Costa Rica requires 5+ years of DevOps experience and expertise in container deployment and orchestration. You will architect, build, and implement cloud standards and processes within AWS, manage Kubernetes on EKS, and create Jenkins pipelines. Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience working as a DevOps Engineer
  • Expertise in working with container deployment and orchestration technologies at scale with strong knowledge of the fundamentals to include service discovery, deployments, monitoring, scheduling, load balancing
  • Knowledge of best practices related to security, performance, and disaster recovery
  • Highly skilled in identifying performance bottlenecks, identifying anomalous system behavior, and determining the root cause of incidents
  • You've demonstrated the ability to effectively work collaboratively across functions
  • Ability to debug and optimize code and automate routine tasks

Responsibilities

  • Architect, build, document, and implement Cloud standards and processes across Experian Business Units within AWS
  • Create new Terraform architecture and modules to provision AWS resources
  • Create, manage, and administrate Kubernetes running on EKS
  • Create and modify Jenkins pipelines to support CI and automation
  • Work with Software Development teams to write and tune their application Helm charts for EKS
  • Performance Engineering, load testing, hotspot isolation, and remediation
  • Guide teams on best practices in the cloud
  • POC new solutions in the cloud
  • Configure APM, SLO, SLA and alerting via Dynatrace
  • Configure log metrics and analysis via Splunk
  • Build and manage CI deployment process for all environments

Preferred Qualifications

  • Interest in designing, analyzing, and troubleshooting large-scale distributed systems
  • Systematic problem-solving approach coupled with strong communication skills and a sense of ownership and drive
