Summary
Join Funnel Leasing Inc. as a Senior DevOps Engineer and work remotely from anywhere in the U.S. You will be responsible for building, maintaining, and monitoring cloud infrastructure and CI/CD pipelines, collaborating with engineers on agile development teams to deliver the product to clients. Requirements
- 4+ years of hands-on experience in a DevOps (or similar) role, with a track record of production-level support
- Proficiency with Linux (including administration, patching, and troubleshooting) across multiple distributions
- Experience working with all layers of a tech stack, from networking and storage through to virtualization or containerization
- Skilled in Python and Bash, with a focus on automation and scripting
- Hands-on experience building and managing infrastructure using a wide range of AWS services (e.g., EC2, EKS, RDS, SQS, S3, CloudWatch)
- Proven track record of using Terraform (or equivalent IaC tools) to deploy and maintain production environments
- Demonstrated ability to support and troubleshoot production Kubernetes clusters
- Practical expertise in Postgres configuration and tuning for performance and reliability
- Security hardening experience, including OS-level and application-level measures
- Exposure to application development in frameworks like Django or Flask, enabling more holistic collaboration with development teams
Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain a robust infrastructure platform on AWS and Kubernetes, ensuring high availability, scalability, and reliability
- Develop and optimize CI/CD pipelines and automated testing frameworks to streamline the software development lifecycle
- Implement and manage a monitoring and alerting platform that provides engineering teams with real-time visibility into system performance, logs, and metrics
- Identify, anticipate, and resolve production issues related to client-facing systems or services in close collaboration with cross-functional teams
- Architect and maintain a platform that meets security and compliance standards, proactively addressing vulnerabilities and regulatory requirements
- Foster collaboration within the DevOps team and across the organization to promote knowledge sharing and drive continuous improvement
- Travel: Up to 5% for team on-site activities, conferences, or other business needs
- Perform other duties as assigned or modified at the managerβs discretion
