Summary

The job at Skan involves managing Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform, developing and managing CI/CD pipelines with Azure DevOps, managing cloud infrastructure on Azure, handling containers and orchestration with Kubernetes, ensuring monitoring and logging, scripting and automation, maintaining security and compliance, providing support for troubleshooting, and creating documentation. The ideal candidate should have at least 3 years of experience as a DevOps Engineer, proficiency in Azure DevOps, Azure services, Kubernetes, Python, Elasticsearch, bash scripting, Docker, Ansible, Terraform, Git, and understanding of data transformation practices. Requirements

• Proven experience as a DevOps Engineer with a minimum of 3 years in a similar role
• Strong proficiency in Azure DevOps, Azure services, Kubernetes, Python, Elasticsearch, and bash scripting
• Hands-on experience with Docker and Kubernetes for containerization
• Strong proficiency in Ansible, Terraform, and similar tools for automation and Infrastructure
• Familiarity with continuous integration tools and processes. This includes Git, Git Flow, and Azure DevOps
• Understanding of data transformation practices including ETL, ELT, data modeling, data warehousing, and data lake
• Knowledge of security best practices and compliance standards
• Effective collaboration with cross-functional teams
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain Infrastructure as Code using tools such as Terraform with specific modules
• Develop and manage CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps to automate build, test, and deployment processes
• Manage cloud infrastructure on Azure, ensuring optimal performance, cost efficiency, and scalability
• Manage Kubernetes for container orchestration, ensuring seamless deployment and scaling of applications
• Understand and have basic knowledge of monitoring and management of Big Data, such as Elastic Stack (Metricbeat, Filebeat, Kibana, etc) and/or other solutions to ensure health and performance on our applications
• Utilize any preferred tools (Python, Bash, Ansible, PowerShell) to automate manual or routine tasks
• Collaborate on implementing and maintaining security best practices, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations
• Provide support for troubleshooting infrastructure, deployment, and performance issues
• Maintain clear and comprehensive documentation for infrastructure, processes, and configurations
