Senior DevOps Engineer

Summary

Join Flashbots, a leading R&D organization focused on MEV, as a Senior DevOps Engineer. You will collaborate with scientists and engineers to support products like Protect, Buildernet, SUAVE, or Rollup-Boost. This role involves administering Kubernetes clusters and deployments, partnering with engineers and product owners, and creating automation and tooling. The ideal candidate possesses production experience with monitoring and incident response, a deep understanding of engineering principles, and excellent communication skills. Requirements

• Genuine desire to understand the blockchain and MEV problem space
• Production experience with monitoring, alerting, and incident response
• Deep understanding of engineering principles and best practices
• Comfortable in a fast-paced, async, and remote environment
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Disposed to action, finding out, and showing; curiosity to get to the root of the problems
• Kind, independently motivated, accountable, and reliable

Responsibilities

• Administrate Kubernetes clusters and deployments, servers, automation, and observability, always in IaC
• Partner with Engineers and Product Owners to support their work
• Create automation and tooling

Preferred Qualifications

• Contributions to open source projects
• Development of distributed systems
• Experience with: Golang and Rust
• Experience with: Public clouds and bare-metal hosting providers
