Summary

Join GWI as a Senior DevOps Engineer and play a key role in the Athens-based DevOps Department. You will be responsible for infrastructure-related code reviews, guiding the engineering team on DevOps best practices, and advancing the internal roadmap. Manage the GCP environment using Terraform, develop tools and automations, and design CI/CD pipelines. Monitor system performance, conduct capacity planning and troubleshooting, and collaborate with developers. The role requires flexibility and comfort with continuous change in a fast-paced environment. Requirements

  • Familiarity with at least one Cloud Service Provider (GCP, AWS or Azure)
  • Proficiency with infrastructure-as-code software tools (Terraform)
  • Hands-on experience with container technologies (Docker) and orchestrators (Kubernetes)
  • Competence with the Helm package manager for Kubernetes
  • Working knowledge with monitoring and alerting systems (Prometheus, Grafana)
  • Skilled in at least one industry standard CI/CD platform (GitHub Actions, GitLab CI/CD, Jenkins etc)

Responsibilities

  • As our Senior DevOps Engineer youโ€™ll be responsible for infrastructure-related code reviews, guiding the engineering team on DevOps best practices and advancing our internal roadmap with cutting-edge technologies
  • Youโ€™ll manage our GCP environment using Terraform, develop tools and automations that streamline operations and deployments, and design, maintain and implement robust CI/CD pipelines across our application suite
  • Youโ€™ll monitor system performance, conduct capacity planning and troubleshooting, and work closely with developers in a cross-functional setting to solve complex technical challenges
