Senior DevOps Engineer, Remote - Brazil

Summary

The job description is for a DevOps Engineer position at Trustly Americas. The role involves working with CI/CD pipeline, deploying upgrades and fixes, automating tasks, improving monitoring and system resource utilization, managing security, system capacity configuration and upgrades, designing and deploying Kubernetes pods, maintaining production databases, designing architectures, managing new modules, tuning nginx rules, and working with Linux/Unix administration. The ideal candidate should have experience in software architecture techniques, scripting languages such as shell script and/or Python, Amazon Web Services, Kubernetes, Docker, and knowledge of Versioning, Continuous Integration, and traffic monitoring tools.

Requirements

• Solid experience as DevOps Engineer
• Strong background in software architecture techniques and scripting languages such as shell script and/or Python
• Experience in Linux/Unix administration
• Experience with Amazon Web Services
• Knowledge of Versioning, Continuous Integration, and traffic monitoring tools
• Experience with Kubernetes, Docker

Responsibilities

• Work with CI/CD pipeline for our java-based application stack
• Deploy upgrades and fixes into the live platform
• Automate tasks to minimize downtime and improve consistency
• Identify and document ways of improving monitoring and system resource utilization
• Manage security, system capacity configuration and upgrades
• Designing, deploying, securing and updating pods in Kubernetes
• Maintenance in production DataBase
• Design Architectures
• Manage new modules
• Tuning and ensuring the nginx rules
