Requirements

  • Possess a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field with 5+ years of experience
  • Have 5-8 years of experience in DevSecOps and CI/CD practices
  • Demonstrate expertise in REST principles, API versioning, and testing tools like Postman
  • Show strong proficiency in Python or Node.js for API development
  • Have experience with serverless applications using AWS Lambda and integrating with other AWS services (API Gateway, S3, Amazon Aurora)
  • Possess familiarity with AWS CloudFormation and event-driven architecture
  • Have knowledge of healthcare data standards (CDA, FHIR, HL7) for compliance and interoperability
  • Have experience with Git version control, including branching and code reviews
  • Possess strong verbal and written communication skills for client interactions and technical documentation

Responsibilities

  • Lead the design, development, and maintenance of serverless RESTful APIs for the Data Quality Tools (DQT) system, ensuring performance, scalability, and security
  • Oversee the implementation of healthcare data standards (e.g., Clinical Document Architecture) to ensure regulatory compliance and data interoperability
  • Lead the integration of external services and systems for smooth data exchange within the DQT project
  • Manage ongoing codebase maintenance, identify bugs, and ensure system stability

Preferred Qualifications

  • Have experience in SAFe/Agile Software Development
  • Possess familiarity with VA environment
  • Have the ability to obtain a government clearance
