Senior Devops Engineer

Summary

Join UR, a borderless smart money app, and become a DevOps/SRE engineer. You will have 3-7 years of DevOps/SRE experience and 2+ years of production-level Kubernetes experience. Responsibilities include managing blockchain nodes, utilizing CI/CD tools, and ensuring system security. You will be proficient in scripting, containerization, and monitoring tools. Strong communication and collaboration skills are essential. Bonus points for experience with high-concurrency blockchain services and familiarity with specific blockchain ecosystems.

Requirements

• Proficient in scripting (Bash) and one backend language (Go/Python)
• Familiar with container image optimization (multi-stage builds, SBOM, image signing)
• Familiar with Prometheus/Grafana/Alertmanager and EFK/ELK/Loki; understand OTel
• 3–7 years of DevOps/SRE experience, 2 years of production-level Kubernetes experience (including upgrades, troubleshooting, and optimization)
• Proficient in a mainstream CI/CD (GitHub Actions/GitLab CI/Jenkins)
• Master Linux/network basics
• Strong communication and collaboration skills; skilled in writing runbooks, playbooks, change proposals, and post-mortem reports

Responsibilities

• Manage blockchain nodes: deploy, manage data directories and snapshots, upgrade and rollback, monitor and alert
• Utilize CI/CD tools such as GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or Jenkins
• Ensure system security: manage secrets, govern CVEs, scan images and dependencies, and enforce the principle of least privilege (RBAC)

Preferred Qualifications

• Operate high-concurrency on-chain services (wallets, payments, matching, cross-chain bridges, data indexers)
• Familiar with Ethereum clients (Geth/Nethermind/Prysm/Lighthouse), Solana/Move ecosystem, or Layer2 (OP Stack, Arbitrum, zk-based)
• Understand service mesh, zero trust, eBPF, WAF/anti-DDoS, Sidecar/native proxy acceleration
• Have SRE system experience (Error Budget, capacity and reliability governance, chaos engineering)
• Have FinTech/compliance background (audit trail, change compliance, data sovereignty, PCI DSS awareness)
