Summary
Join MetroStar as a Sr. DevOps Engineer II and play a crucial role in ensuring the reliability, scalability, and efficiency of our decoupled Drupal systems. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance content deployment processes, optimize system performance, and contribute to the overall success of our digital solutions. Work in an agile environment, creating, deploying, maintaining, and troubleshooting highly performant and secure web applications. Continuously improve client infrastructure and platform, deploy new CI/CD workflows, and serve as a subject matter expert for Node.js applications. Requirements
- 7+ years of DevOps experience
- Fluent in developing server-side web applications in Node.js using frameworks like Next.js, Express, or Meteor.js
- High level of proficiency working with modern front-end JavaScript frameworks such as React or Vue
- Experience integrating web applications with large-scale content management APIs like Drupal or Contentful in decoupled or headless architectures
- Experience using CI/CD and automation technologies such as GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or Bitbucket Pipelines to test and deploy web applications
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a Public Trust
Responsibilities
- Working in an agile environment as part of a full design and development team, participating in agile ceremonies, interacting with and supporting our customer
- Creating, deploying, maintaining, and troubleshooting highly performant and secure web applications
- Continuously improving the client infrastructure and platform for users
- Deploying new CI/CD workflows and improve the scope of existing ones
- Serving as the subject matter expert for Node.js applications and provide relevant advice to team members and customers
