Join Caylent as a Senior Director to lead our Cloud Engineering practice, responsible for setting the technical vision, establishing best practices, and ensuring successful cloud solution delivery for enterprise clients. Lead and mentor a team of 200+ cloud engineers, architects, and consultants. Define and execute the strategic vision for the Cloud Engineering Practice, aligning with company objectives and AWS best practices. Oversee successful execution of cloud engagements, ensuring high-quality delivery and customer satisfaction. Strengthen collaboration with AWS, leveraging latest technologies and programs. Support pre-sales efforts, contribute to go-to-market strategies, and drive revenue growth. Stay ahead of industry trends, drive innovation, and represent the company at industry events. Drive the development and implementation of AI-powered cloud solutions.

Requirements

• 15+ years of experience in cloud engineering, infrastructure, or software development, with at least 5 years in a leadership role at a professional services company
• Proven experience leading and scaling a cloud engineering practice or department, ideally within an AWS-focused services company
• Deep expertise in AWS services, architectures, and best practices
• Strong background in DevOps, Infrastructure as Code (IaC), automation, and cloud security
• Ability to drive business outcomes, manage budgets, and align technical capabilities with revenue goals
• Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills
• Experience working with enterprise clients across various industries

• Delivery Excellence: Oversee the successful execution of cloud engagements, ensuring high-quality delivery, customer satisfaction, and operational excellence
• AWS Partnership: Strengthen our collaboration with AWS, leveraging latest technologies and programs to enhance our service offerings
• Business Growth: Support pre-sales efforts, contribute to go-to-market strategies, and help drive revenue growth by aligning technical capabilities with business opportunities
• Innovation & Thought Leadership: Stay ahead of industry trends, drive innovation within the practice, and represent the company in conferences, webinars, and AWS-related events
• AI & Emerging Technologies Leadership: Drive the development and implementation of AI-powered cloud solutions

Preferred Qualifications

• Relevant AWS certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Professional)
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science/Engineering or related field
• AWS, Kubernetes, or HashiCorp Certifications
