Senior Director of Information Technology

Summary

Join Next Health as the Senior Director of Information Technology and lead the digital transformation across the organization. This hybrid role will shape the technological foundation, oversee full-stack development, strengthen cybersecurity, and enhance customer-facing digital experiences. You will report to the COO and collaborate with cross-functional teams. The position is primarily remote with occasional on-site visits to the West Hollywood headquarters. Responsibilities include defining and executing IT strategy, leading architecture of scalable systems, driving technology modernization, overseeing mobile app development, leading UX/UI strategy, enhancing digital member tools, designing and managing cybersecurity strategy, building and leading a high-performing technology team, and managing vendor relationships. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in a related field (Master's preferred), 8+ years of progressive IT leadership experience, expertise in full-stack architecture and mobile app development, and deep knowledge of cybersecurity and HIPAA compliance.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (Master’s preferred)
• Minimum of 8+ years of progressive IT leadership experience in high-growth environments
• Expertise in full-stack architecture, mobile app development, and digital UX/UI
• Strong command of cloud-native platforms, API-first design, and DevOps methodologies
• Deep knowledge of cybersecurity, HIPAA compliance, and secure coding practices
• Proven success building and leading high-performance technology teams
• Executive presence and ability to influence cross-functional senior leadership

Responsibilities

• Define and execute a comprehensive IT strategy aligned with organizational goals
• Lead the architecture of scalable, secure, cloud-native systems across web, app, backend, and APIs
• Drive technology modernization through adoption of microservices, CI/CD, and DevSecOps practices
• Champion full-stack engineering and agile product development focused on innovation and performance
• Oversee the continuous development and optimization of the Next Health mobile app
• Lead UX/UI strategy and design execution across digital touchpoints, ensuring intuitive, brand-consistent experiences
• Collaborate with AI/ML teams to embed intelligent features, including personalization and automation
• Enhance digital member tools for onboarding, booking, service tracking, and engagement
• Design and manage an enterprise-level cybersecurity strategy
• Ensure compliance with HIPAA and all applicable data privacy regulations
• Conduct routine security audits, threat assessments, and incident response exercises
• Build and lead a high-performing, agile technology team
• Define clear roles, KPIs, and development paths that align with company goals
• Manage key vendor and technology partner relationships to drive performance and cost efficiency
• Develop and maintain robust disaster recovery and business continuity plans
• Lead cross-functional technology initiatives, ensuring delivery on time, scope, and budget
• Create and manage the IT roadmap with quarterly and annual milestones
