Summary

Join Experian Marketing Services (EMS) as a Senior Director of Solution Engineering, leading a team responsible for pre-sales strategy and technical success across Experian's Curation product suite. This remote position reports to the VP of Product and offers opportunities to grow a high-performing team, mentor team members, translate complex technical concepts, improve team workflows, collaborate with other departments, influence product strategy, and promote Curation solutions. You will work with advertisers, agencies, platforms, and publishers. The role requires significant experience in marketing or ad-tech, leading Solutions Engineering or Sales Engineering teams, and hands-on experience with digital advertising technologies. Requirements

  • 10+ years' experience in marketing or ad-tech, including 5+ years leading Solutions Engineering or Sales Engineering teams
  • Experience hiring, mentoring, and scaling technical teams
  • Hands-on experience with digital advertising technologies (e.g., DSPs, SSPs, data activation, measurement)
  • Experience with SQL and delivering technical demos and presentations
  • Experience digging into prospects' pain points and validating the issues they're facing to scope projects and gather requirements
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience

Responsibilities

  • Grow a high-performing Solutions Engineering team supporting advertisers, agencies, platforms, and publishers
  • Act as a player-coach, mentoring team members and engaging directly with clients
  • Translate complex technical concepts into clear value for business and technical partners
  • Improve team workflows and processes for scalable, high-quality delivery
  • Collaborate with Product, Engineering, and Sales to align client needs with product capabilities
  • Influence product strategy through client feedback and market insights
  • Promote Curation solutions internally and externally, identifying opportunities for innovation and integration

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with platforms like DMPs, CDPs, Ad Exchanges, or measurement tools
  • Familiarity with big data tools (e.g., Python, Snowflake) and web technologies (JavaScript, HTTP, client/server architecture)
