Summary

Join Aledade's Turnkey team and lead the operational development of a new business line focused on helping primary care physicians launch independent practices. You will oversee the end-to-end development and operation of a service platform encompassing payer contracting, credentialing, marketing, and vendor management. As a hands-on leader, you will build and lead a team, manage vendor relationships, and ensure practice success. This role requires deep understanding of primary care, operations, and value-based payment models. You will be responsible for performance tracking, strategic decision-making, and continuous improvement. Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • 10+ years of experience
  • Deep working knowledge of primary care practice operations, independent practice management, and startup environments. Proven ability to drive operational success in independent or small-group practice settings
  • Strong organizational and project management skills, including the ability to prioritize tasks, manage timelines, and coordinate cross-functional teams to meet program objectives
  • Exceptional cross-functional leadership skills with the ability to influence across departments and vendors
  • Adept at troubleshooting complex issues and designing sustainable solutions
  • Proficiency in analyzing healthcare data, identifying trends, and using metrics to inform decisions, assess program performance, and recommend improvements
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with diverse stakeholders, including healthcare providers, payers, and internal teams
  • Strong problem-solving abilities, enabling the identification of issues, development of innovative solutions, and proactive management of program risks
  • Strong financial and strategic acumen to guide business decisions

Responsibilities

  • Program development, oversight and strategy: Launch the infrastructure for a scalable practice enablement program, including workflows, tools, vendor partnerships, and operational milestones. Serve as the lead architect for long-term physician practice success—ensuring each practice is positioned for clinical, financial, and operational sustainability
  • With a team, develop systems to guide practices through common startup challenges including workflow optimization, EHR setup, billing performance, and operational scalability
  • Team leadership & coordination: Build and lead a nimble, multidisciplinary team focused on onboarding, supporting, and scaling independent practices. Supervise and mentor program teams, providing guidance on project timelines, deliverables, and resource allocation to ensure successful execution of initiatives
  • Manage cross-functional teams like legal, finance, IT, clinical operations, and marketing to ensure smooth onboarding, service delivery, and performance tracking
  • Vendor & partner oversight: Own vendor performance management across credentialing, billing, marketing, and technology partners. Troubleshoot issues and implement solutions when partner tools or services impact practice outcomes
  • Ensure all vendor workflows align with our service promise and physician expectations
  • Contracting, credentialing, and revenue readiness: Oversee payer strategy and execution with contract team to ensure timely contracting, credentialing, and participation in high-value networks
  • Implement processes through vendors, to support clean claims submission and reimbursement workflows from day one
  • Practice growth enablement / service growth enablement: Collaborate with marketing teams, internal sales, and external vendors to support strategies to grow not only the service line, but the individual practices’ panels
  • Performance tracking: Manage the collection and analysis of key performance metrics, using data insights to inform high-level strategic decisions, optimize program outcomes, and drive continuous improvement
  • Develop strategic updates, performance dashboards, and narratives for Board of Directors meetings
  • Drive process improvements, incorporate new technology, and explore innovative approaches to enhance program effectiveness, engagement, and overall coordination
  • Other duties as assigned

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master’s Degree in Health Administration
  • 15 years working experience
