Summary
Join Arcellx, a clinical-stage biotechnology company, as a Senior Division Manager to build and lead a sales team launching a transformative multiple myeloma treatment. You will develop and execute sales strategies, manage a high-performing team, and drive adoption of innovative therapies. This role requires building strong relationships with key customers and stakeholders, including Kite Pharma. The position involves significant travel within a defined territory (PA, OH, WV, KY, TN, VA, DE, MD). Requirements
- Bachelorβs degree required; advanced degree preferred
- 10+ years of biotech/pharma sales experience, with at least 3 years in a sales leadership role; cross-functional experience preferred
- Proven track record in hematology/oncology, and/or cell therapy markets
- Inspirational leadership, clear and engaging communication, advanced coaching and team development skills
- Innovative and strategic mindset, experienced in building, coaching, and implementing actionable account plans
- The geography covered in this territory includes: PA, OH, WV, KY, TN, VA, DE, MD. Sr. DSMs will be expected to live within their territory and travel at least 50% of the time
Responsibilities
- Attract, retain, and develop a divisional field sales team of top talent
- Onboard, train, and prepare team to surpass launch expectations
- Lead and manage team to meet and exceed sales and performance goals
- Analyze market trends and competitive activity to identify opportunities and inform strategy
- Develop and implement divisional sales plans aligned with company objectives and product launch timelines, support team in developing and executing strategic territory and account plans
- Proactively engage with key customers and account groups to establish long-term relationships and advocacy for swift uptake and support of Arcellx products
- Build strong collaborative relationships with our partner, Kite Pharma, and key stakeholders in the field; lead team to execute upon aligned goals and metrics
- Attend and lead commercial booth and promotional activities at national and/or regional scientific meetings
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory and legal requirements
