Senior Django Engineer

Summary

Join Allwyn Lottery Solutions as a FullStack Engineer and play a pivotal role in building a B2B web application used across various business teams. You will design, develop, and maintain robust web applications using Python and modern frontend technologies, creating real-time dashboards and collaborative features. This role requires strong Python proficiency, experience with web application development, cloud services, and specific frameworks. You will collaborate with data engineers, DevOps, and architects, leading code reviews and implementing data visualization features. Requirements

• Strong proficiency in Python application development (4+ years)
• Experience building web applications and/or web services using Python programming language and one of common web frameworks (Flask, Django, FastAPI)
• Experience with cloud services and database technologies (e.g., Postgres and AWS)
• Experience developing applications using Single Page Application frameworks with a preference for Vue.js or Svelte.js
• Experience working with Typescript
• Enable experimentation and fast learning approaches to creating business solutions
• Experience working with websockets and/or asynchronous programming
• Experience working with a Unit testing framework

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain robust, scalable, and secure web applications using Python on the backend and modern frontend technologies
• Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code
• Advise on Python coding best practices
• Collaborate closely with data engineers, devops and architects to deliver a
• Lead code reviews
• Implement data visualisation and reporting features using libraries such as D3.js, Chart.js, or similar tools
• Input into the Digital Marketing roadmap and strategy
• Deliver best in class solutions in terms of robustness, recovery and resilience
