Join Gardening Know How, a leading gardening website, as a Senior Editor. Reporting to the Editor-in-Chief, you will drive traffic and e-commerce growth, leading the team in creating top-tier gardening content focused on Discover traffic. Responsibilities include managing the content calendar, collaborating with other editors, commissioning content, and ensuring on-time and within-budget project delivery. This remote role offers a competitive salary (£29,000-£40,000), uncapped leave, profit sharing bonuses, referral rewards, wellbeing support, and share purchase options. The ideal candidate possesses a strong understanding of audience building, experience managing freelance budgets and teams, and excellent industry contacts. A passion for gardening and writing for US audiences is essential.

• Understanding of building audiences for websites and knowledge of different acquisition channels
• A passion and keen interest in homes and gardens, and an ability to write for US audiences

Responsibilities

• Deliver traffic and ecommerce growth, and support commercial performance across all platforms
• Lead the team to create industry-leading content across all aspects of gardening, with a focus on gaining Discover traffic
• Run the forward planner, content calendar and output planner
• Work with the video and social media editor to originate ideas for different channels, commission content and ensure the team operates to deadline and in budget
