Senior Engineer, Front-End Enablement

Summary

Join HashiCorp's Front-end Experiences Enablement team and empower the creation of accessible, high-quality UIs across HashiCorp's product portfolio. Collaborate with engineers and designers to deliver new features and major UI refactors. Serve as a trusted specialist in UI engineering, accessibility, or another specialty. Continuously improve product UIs and adapt to evolving priorities and new initiatives. Support effective project handoffs through clear communication and documentation. This role requires production experience with JavaScript frameworks (e.g., Ember.js, React), strong collaboration skills, a commitment to quality code and testing, familiarity with web accessibility standards, and excellent communication skills.

Requirements

• Have production experience working on an application using a JavaScript framework (e.g. Ember.js , React), building responsive layouts with CSS and HTML
• Strong collaboration and communication skills and an ability to build productive relationships with a diverse range of cross-functional partners
• Strive for quality through maintainable code and comprehensive testing from development to deployment
• Be familiar with web accessibility standards and inclusive design principles
• Communicate clearly while remaining empathetic and kind
• Have an eagerness to learn through humility and reflection

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with product designers and engineers to support the delivery of new features or major refactors in our UIs
• Serve as a trusted specialist in your field, whether it’s UI engineering, accessibility, or another specialty, for our partner teams
• Identify and act on opportunities to leave our product UIs better than you found them
• Regularly adapt to new products and areas of focus as priorities shift and new initiatives emerge
• Support effective project handoff through written communication and documentation
