Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
- Current EPIC Certifications in the below listed applications strongly desired: Bridges, Tapestry, Healthy Planet, CareEverywhere, Ambulatory
- Proven experience in EPIC application development, configuration, and implementation
- Proficiency in EPIC modules such as MyChart, EpicCare Inpatient, Cadence, Prelude, ADT etc
- Strong knowledge of EPIC integration tools, including HL7, Web Services, and API integration
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with diverse teams and stakeholders
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and project requirements
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions within the EPIC framework
- Design, develop, maintenance and support of EPIC Interfaces for various EPIC applications, modules, and workflows according to project requirements
- Customize EPIC application to meet the specific needs of our organization, including configuration, scripting, and integration with other systems
- Perform unit testing, integration testing, and quality assurance to ensure the reliability and performance of EPIC applications
- Provide technical support and troubleshooting assistance for EPIC applications, resolving issues in a timely manner
- Document technical specifications, configurations, and procedures related to EPIC development and implementation
- Stay up-to-date with EPIC software updates, new features, and best practices to continuously improve our systems and processes
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including clinicians, IT professionals, and project managers, to ensure successful EPIC implementations and integrations
- Participate in training sessions and knowledge sharing activities to promote the effective use of EPIC software across the organization
- Adhere to HIPAA regulations and other relevant compliance standards in all aspects of EPIC development and implementation
- Collaborate with EPIC Technical Services team to customize/optimize Epic Payer Platform build, as needed
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with EPIC Clarity database and reporting tools is a plus
