Summary

We are seeking a Freelance Senior Event Producer to oversee all aspects of event production, from concept to execution. This role requires strong project management skills, leadership abilities, and excellent communication skills. The ideal candidate has a bachelor's degree and at least 5 years of proven event production experience.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree preferred
• 5+ years of proven event production experience required
• Strong project management skills with proven ability to lead teams
• 2-3 years of management or supervisory experience
• Client focus with attention to detail, flexibility and accountability for results
• Leadership and coaching skills
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Extraordinary organizational skills, self-motivation and intuition
• Thrive in a fast paced, agency environment
• Excellent computer skills Microsoft and Apple applications, team project software, social media sites
• Thorough understanding of permitting standards and ability to successfully manage production timelines and needs as related to permit procurement
• Ability to effectively manage tasks across multiple projects/various clients at the same time
• Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% or more of the time
• Must be able to work outdoors in various weather conditions

Responsibilities

• Develop ideas and concepts for events
• Develop executable plans for events
• Oversee operations of events
• Manage project timelines
• Direct staff and coordinate technical and production teams

Preferred Qualifications

• Bilingual abilities preferably Spanish
• Experience with event niche (sports, music, theater)
• CAD
