As a Senior Microsoft Fabric Data Engineer, you will design, implement, and manage advanced data engineering solutions using Microsoft Fabric, collaborating with TCS teams and ensuring seamless execution and optimization of data platforms for an end client. The role involves developing and managing data engineering solutions, building robust data pipelines, ensuring compliance with data governance standards, optimizing database performance, and providing technical training. Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
  • 5 + Years of experience working in Microsoft SQL Server and data engineering
  • 5 + Years of experience managing data warehouse environments working with star schema architecture or data lake environments
  • 3 + Years of experience working with Python, particularly in data manipulation, scripting, and integration tasks
  • 3 + Years of experience working with Power BI
  • 3 + Years of experience working with ETL processes over SSIS (SQL Server Integration Services)
  • 1 + Years of experience working with Power BI Report Builder or SSRS (SQL Server Reporting Services)
  • Microsoft Certification DP600 – Fabric Analytics Engineer Associate or DP700 – Fabric Data Engineer Associate
  • Experience with Azure DevOps for code deployment
  • Advanced English Level is required for this role as you will work with US clients. Effective communication in English is essential to deliver the best solutions to our clients and expand your horizons

Responsibilities

  • Develop, implement, and manage data engineering solutions leveraging Microsoft Fabric
  • Collaborate with TCS teams to ensure project objectives align with organizational needs
  • Build, test, and maintain robust data pipelines and ETL & ELT processes
  • Ensure compliance with data governance, security, and regulatory standards
  • Optimize database performance and resolve technical issues
  • Document processes and provide technical training to team members
