Senior Finance Business Partner

Summary

Join Go1, the world's largest aggregator of educational content, as a Senior Finance Business Partner focusing on R&D and G&A functions. You will play a vital role in shaping the financial course of the business and ensuring successful financial performance. This remote role, based in the Pacific Time zone with occasional Bay Area travel, requires financial leadership for various teams. You will build and own financial forecast models, drive key operating cadences, and continuously improve financial processes. Requirements

• A bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field is required
• Possess a minimum of 8 years of financial experience gained in Investment Banking, Private Equity, VC, Strategic Finance, or a similar FP&A role in a fast-paced environment
• Expertise in financial modeling, with meticulous attention to detail. You can confidently build financial models from scratch in Excel, ensuring the highest quality of work
• Excellent business acumen and communication skills. You can extract meaningful insights from large volumes of data and craft executive-level communications that effectively convey the story behind the numbers

Responsibilities

• Elevate financial planning from budget management to maximizing ROI on each R&D and G&A dollar we spend
• Build and own financial forecast models that align our strategic objectives with operational execution by setting financial targets and understanding deviations in performance of actuals for your functional areas
• Drive our key operating cadences, including monthly business reviews, bi-annual forecasting, and annual strategic planning processes for the R&D and G&A organizations
• Continuously improve our financial processes, identifying opportunities for enhancement, and contributing to the scalability of our team and business
