Senior Financial Analyst

Summary

The job is for a Senior Financial Analyst, Commissions role at Axon. The candidate will manage the commissions process, prepare reconciliations, and assist with developing quarterly business reviews. A Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Business Administration, Economics or Accounting is required, and 2-4 years of experience in data modeling, business analytics, BI reporting in a dynamic environment is expected.

• 2-4 years of experience in data modeling, business analytics, BI reporting in a dynamic environment

Responsibilities

• Support cross-functional business partners to help manage the commissions and variable incentives process end-to-end
• Own and manage the commissions data, calculations, and reporting through the commissions management tool
• Prepare monthly/quarterly reconciliations, quality assessments and business impact analyses to track effectiveness of the executed plans systematically and strategically
• Assist with developing quarterly business reviews with Finance and Sales leaders, and performing other ad-hoc analysis
• Work cross functionally with Sales Strategy, IT, and Operations to provide operational oversight over commissions calculations, reporting and payout
• Develop and lead process improvement initiatives working across Finance and Accounting

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with Commissions or Sales Operations preferred. Bonus if experience with commissions management tool (i.e. Xactly, CaptivateIQ, SPIFF, etc.)
