Requirements

  • TS/SCI Clearance required
  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting or business management-related field
  • One of the following certifications: CPA, CIA, CFE, CGFM, CDFM
  • At least eight (8) years of progressive experience in leading financial management services and related projects
  • At least six (6) years of federal financial management experience in roles such as accountant, financial auditor, financial analyst, or financial system analyst
  • At least six (6) years of experience performing one or more of the following: Federal Financial Reporting, General Ledger Analysis, Audit Liaison, Audit Remediation, Process Improvement through Automation, Documenting and Testing Internal Controls Over Financial Reporting or Improper Payments in accordance with FMFIA, PIIA, and OMB Circular A-123, Determining value of capital assets
  • Must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis

Responsibilities

  • Provide methodologies, tools, innovative solutions, and requisite expertise to enable the client's financial management, accounting, facility management, property accountability, and logistics operations to produce accurate, timely, relevant, and complete financial information for the client’s stakeholders and customers
  • Collaborate with agency senior leadership, oversight, and functional stakeholders across the client's organization to identify, implement, and maintain policy, business process, and internal controls that provide significant business value to the client
  • Remediate audit findings and their root causes and enhance the overall quality of business processes that underpin and enable the organization's mission
  • Support program management, agency-level financial reporting, internal controls, audit liaison, audit remediation, capital asset monitoring, and valuation

Preferred Qualifications

  • DoD or Intelligence Community financial management experience
  • Federal or commercial financial statement audit experience
