Senior Financial Operations

Summary

Join Connor Group as a remote professional to work on finance projects that add value to clients' finance, accounting, and operation departments. The position requires good understanding of key business and finance processes, basic knowledge of US GAAP, and exposure to financial systems and tools. Desired skills include strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, entrepreneurial nature, excellent interpersonal, presentation, writing, and communication skills, team or project management experience, a GPA of 3.5 or better, advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills, at least 2-3 years of business consulting, auditing, or industry experience, CPA and/or MBA, being rated top 25% of Big Four class, and a willingness to travel up to 25%, including international travel.

Requirements

• Basic understanding of US GAAP
• Attention to detail with ability to produce quality deliverables

Responsibilities

• Good understanding and application of key business and finance processes (close process, financial planning & analysis, procure-to-pay, order-to-cash, revenue etc.)
• Demonstrated ability to document finance and operational process

Preferred Qualifications

Exposure to financial systems and tools beneficial (e.g., SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, Hyperion, Business Intelligence Databases etc.)
