Senior Flutter Developer

Summary

Join Holycode's Viboo team as a Senior Flutter Developer for a full-time position. You will lead the development of a customer-facing web application built with Flutter, Firebase, and Firestore. Responsibilities include contributing to auxiliary React applications, collaborating with various teams, designing software architectures, developing automated testing, and reviewing code. The ideal candidate possesses a strong frontend development background, experience with Flutter and Firebase, and a solid understanding of software architecture principles. Requirements

• Strong track record in frontend development, ideally in complex B2B, SaaS, or data-intensive products
• Knowledge in working with Flutter and the Firebase development platform
• Our tech stack is hosted on GCP and includes Firebase, Firestore, Cloud Functions, and Cloud Pub/Sub. If you’re not yet familiar with one of our technologies, you’re eager and quick to learn
• Strong grasp of software architecture principles – you turn ideas and requirements into clean, efficient, and scalable code
• You are an expert when it comes to frontend but have worked across the stack (DBs, APIs, Authentication …)
• Familiarity with best practices, CI/CD, DevOps, Git, automated testing, agile,
• You take ownership, are customer-oriented and have strong team skills

Responsibilities

• Lead the further development of our web app, currently built with Flutter, Firebase and Firestore
• Contribute to two auxiliary applications developed in React
• Collaborate closely with Product Managers, Backend- and Frontend Developers, UI/UX Designers and Control Engineers to develop new features and products
• Design clean software architectures that are aligned with the backend and the UI/UX, leading to a better performing and maintainable web application
• Develop automated frontend testing
• Review code, debug issues, and tune performance across the stack
• Prioritize using existing tools and libraries over reinventing solutions
• Take full ownership of your work and bring your own ideas to life
• Report to the Product Engineer

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in the energy or building sector is a plus
• Experience with React is a big plus
• Experience with data visualization is a big plus
