Join Fastly as a Senior FP&A Analyst and partner with Product and Engineering teams to manage budgets, forecasts, and the monthly accounting close. Requirements
- 4-6 years of experience in FP&A, Operations, or Accounting, with the majority of that experience spent working cross-functionally in a business support role
- Bachelor’s degree, preferably in an a quantitative discipline, such as Finance, Accounting, or Economics
- A partnership-focused individual who believes success is found through teamwork
- Strong analytical skills with a passion for accuracy and telling clear stories with data
- Top-notch Excel/G-Sheets and Powerpoint/G-Preso skills are a must
- A positive attitude with a willingness to go above and beyond for your team and your partners
- Integrity with personal and confidential information
Responsibilities
- Provide personnel and expense budgeting support, including the management of headcount requisitions, variance analysis, open purchase order reviews, and investment decision support, to our leaders in Product and Engineering, or their delegates
- Build insightful, thorough, and repeatable reporting packages to help explain expense trends, risks, and opportunities
- Serve as an advocate for your business partners, helping them to present investment cases and facilitate trade-off discussions where necessary
- Play a critical role in the monthly accounting close process by providing budget and forecast versus actuals analytics, helping to estimate accruals where necessary, and raising issues with accounting and finance leadership
- Work closely with Project Management and accounting teams to forecast Internal Use Software related Capex
- When necessary, lend a helping hand to your peers in corporate FP&A or those supporting other organizations
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Adaptive Insights
- Experience with NetSuite and Coupa
- Experience with Google Suite products
