Requirements

• Proven experience as a front-end engineer with a strong design orientation
• Proficiency in modern front-end frameworks and libraries (e.g., React, Angular, Vue)
• Experience with design tools (e.g., Figma, Sketch) and the ability to translate designs into code
• Strong understanding of design principles, user experience, and accessibility standards
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with a track record of working effectively in cross-functional teams
• Bachelors in computer science or related field
• Familiarity with design systems and their implementation in large-scale organizations
• Experience in building and maintaining component libraries and style guides
• Knowledge of prototyping tools and techniques

Responsibilities

• Component Library Development: Transform our design language into a robust component library, utilizing modern frameworks and libraries
• Design System Advocacy: Promote and facilitate the adoption of the design system across the organization, ensuring consistency and scalability
• Prototyping: Convert low-fidelity designs into high-fidelity prototypes using the component library, enabling quick iterations and feedback
• Collaboration Enhancement: Foster improved communication and collaboration between engineering and design teams, bridging gaps and aligning goals
• Style Guide Creation & Documentation: Develop and maintain the style guide website for the design system, providing a comprehensive resource for designers and developers
