Senior Front End Developer

Summary

Join Hypergiant, an Accelint company, and become a Senior Software Engineer on the Web Commerce and Identity team. You will build core sign-up, purchase, and subscription management experiences for our web platform. This fast-paced, growing team shares knowledge and code across commerce and identity initiatives. As a high-level technical resource, you'll solve sophisticated challenges and improve systems, products, and services. You'll work with clients' engineering organizations to deliver app experiences across streaming platforms. The role requires significant experience in building scalable web applications and working with modern Javascript workflows. Remote work is possible, but active participation in video meetings is expected.

Requirements

• 5+ years experience building highly scalable and performant production level web applications
• Demonstrated ability to architect complex technical changes, to knowledge-share, and get buy-in for their solutions
• An interest in writing well-documented, clear, and robust code
• Experience working within a modern Javascript workflow
• Experience shipping a production React/Node.js application
• Experience writing code with Typescript
• Proven ability to integrate with third party systems (ex: APIs, SDKs, etc)
• Highly diligent with the ability to see projects from beginning to end; designing workflows and delegating tasks to team members
• Quickly learn, understand, and adapt to new technologies; identifying root causes and driving solutions to highly sophisticated problems
• Exhibits emotional intelligence, supervising oneself under high pressure situations and meets urgent timelines

Responsibilities

• Build the core sign-up, purchase, and subscription management experiences of our Web platform
• Serve as a high level technical resource and “go-to” person, solving sophisticated technical challenges and finding opportunities to improve systems, products, and services
• Work with our clients engineering organization to deliver app experiences across several streaming platforms built on a common platform and shared technology
• Support and mentor other developers by building trust, identifying goals, encouraging, instructing, and providing constructive feedback
• Optimally collaborate and communicate with team members and multi-functional partners, engaging technical topics with clarity
