Senior Front-End Engineer

Summary

Join Deel as a Front End Engineer and translate design concepts into functional, high-quality code, optimizing performance and ensuring scalability. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Product, Design, and Backend Engineers, to create responsive, high-performance web applications. Ensure Deel’s customers have an intuitive and engaging experience. Participate in the entire product development lifecycle, from discovery and planning to deployment. Requirements

• 7+ years of experience as a frontend or full-stack developer in the below technologies
• Excellent JavaScript knowledge in front end libraries, especially React.js, both with class and functional components and hooks
• Master in JavaScript syntax, and in front end essentials such as HTML, and CSS
• Proficiency with Node.js and at least one other server side language such as Python, Ruby, Java, PHP or .Net
• Strong experience with state management packages such as Mobx and Redux
• Deep understanding of designing, writing, running, maintaining and debugging applications across the whole stack in one or more of the technologies listed above

Responsibilities

• Work as part of a cross-functional team, collaborating with Backend Engineers, Product Teams, Designers, and QA to build exceptional products
• Participate in the entire product development lifecycle, from discovery and planning to deployment, contributing valuable insights at each stage
• Collaborate closely with team members to develop robust new features, APIs, and continuously improve Deel’s products, ensuring high quality and performance
• Actively troubleshoot, identify, and resolve bugs to maintain Deel’s fast-paced development standards (DeelSpeed)
• Ensure a seamless, white-glove user experience for our customers across all front-end touchpoints
