Join GWI as a Senior Frontend Engineer and play a key role in our Software Engineering Department in Athens, Greece. You will be responsible for code reviews, implementing new features using React and TypeScript, mentoring junior team members, and collaborating with the team lead. Requirements

  • Demonstrate commercial experience in coding with React.js and Typescript/Javascript
  • Demonstrate excellent software development skills using both object and functional-oriented design fundamentals with a strong background in client-facing software applications
  • Demonstrate strong fundamentals around the web platform as a whole (HTTP/S, REST, Web performance & security)
  • Demonstrate experience with Computer Science fundamentals (data representation, data structures, algorithms) and with Test Driven Development (TDD)
  • Demonstrate knowledge and experience with continuous integration and deployment automation concepts
  • Demonstrate ability to adapt to changing requirements and delivery timelines; Agile development experience (including tools like JIRA, Git, etc) is welcome

Responsibilities

  • Perform code reviews

  • Collaborate closely with your Team Lead to ensure timely delivery of high-quality solutions
