Senior Frontend Engineer

Summary

The job description is for a position at Kittl, a fast-growing design platform that aims to transform the way creators work. The role involves optimizing the 2D rendering of the Editor product, managing browser performance insights, creating an intuitive user experience (UX), and writing comprehensive tests. The candidate should have at least 5 years of professional development experience with TypeScript & React, proficiency in vector graphics and SVG manipulation, modern web development tools, application state management, CI/CD, static hosting, and familiarity with backend development is a plus.

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of professional development experience with TypeScript & React
• Proficiency in vector graphics and SVG manipulation
• Modern web development tools proficiency
• Expertise in complex application state management
• Strong knowledge of Continuous Integration & Continuous Delivery processes
• Experience with static hosting approaches, platforms and caveats

Responsibilities

• Optimize 2D rendering for super smooth performance
• Manage browser performance insights to identify and eliminate bottlenecks
• Create an intuitive and user-friendly experience (UX)
• Craft clean, understandable code to tackle complex rendering challenges
• Design and write comprehensive tests

Preferred Qualifications

• Proficiency in Canvas 2D is a plus
• Familiarity with backend development and databases
