Senior Frontend Engineer

Summary

Join Make as a Senior Frontend Engineer to work on large-scale software projects, effectively communicate, and solve problems. This position requires 7+ years of professional experience in frontend development, proficiency with React, Nextjs, JavaScript/TypeScript, and at least 2 years' experience with Server-Side Rendering (SSR), Incremental Static Regeneration (ISR), and static site generation.

Requirements

• Have good communication skills
• Be fluent in English
• Be available for video calls during the workday
• Minimum 7+ years of professional experience in frontend development
• Be highly proficient with React hooks, the Context API, and component lifecycle management
• Have in-depth knowledge of Server-Side Rendering (SSR), Incremental Static Regeneration (ISR), and static site generation with Nextjs
• Experienced in writing clean, maintainable, and scalable code with a solid understanding of modern ES6+ syntax
• Have worked on at least 2 large-scale applications (with +50 screens)

Responsibilities

• Craft large-scale software based on atomic design systems
• Write high quality code
• Code screens and components to match Figma designs

Preferred Qualifications

• Agency experience (currently works at a software agency that is similar to Make)
• Headless CMS experience
• Backend experience
• Firebase/Supabase experience
• Testing libraries (tools like Vitest or Playwright)
