Senior Frontend Engineer

Summary

Join Masabi, a company driving the fare payment revolution, as a Senior Front-End Javascript developer. Work remotely in Colombia or Argentina. Contribute to the development and maintenance of several web applications used by customers of the Justride platform, primarily using Vue and Angular. Requirements

• A good command of the English language is required for this role
• Proficient in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and TypeScript, with experience in ECMAScript and other transpilers
• Skilled in using JavaScript component frameworks like Vue and Angular
• Strong understanding of web standards, accessibility, and usability, including W3C standards and WCAG 2.2
• Experienced with client-side bundlers such as Webpack, Rollup, and Vite
• Committed to mentoring front-end engineers, helping them grow their skills and become more effective
• Skilled in making strategic decisions and communicating effectively with both technical and non-technical audiences
• Approachable, patient, and an excellent communicator who thrives in a collaborative environment
• Passionate about maintaining technical quality and user-centred design
• Champion of best practices across the software development lifecycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control, builds, automated testing, and operations

Led the delivery of complex, innovative solutions in fast-paced environments, adapting to changing priorities

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with hybrid web and mobile app development using Capacitor.JS, React Native
• Familiarity with native mobile technologies for both iOS and Android
• Experience migrating between JavaScript frameworks, with some exposure to other modern programming or scripting languages like Java, Kotlin, or Python
