PadSplit is hiring a Senior Frontend Engineer to develop high-quality user interfaces using modern frontend technologies. The role involves collaborating with designers, developers, and product managers, conducting code reviews, optimizing application performance, mentoring junior developers, participating in daily stand-ups and sprint planning meetings, implementing automated testing, staying updated with industry trends, and more.

Requirements

• Proficiency in modern frontend frameworks and libraries such as React, Angular, or Vue.js
• Strong understanding of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, along with experience in responsive design and cross-browser compatibility
• Experience with version control systems like Git and collaborative development workflows
• Solid grasp of frontend build tools and package managers, such as Webpack, Babel, npm, or Yarn
• Familiarity with RESTful APIs and asynchronous request handling
• Knowledge of performance optimization techniques for web applications
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to debug complex issues
• Effective communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to mentor and guide junior developers

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain high-quality, responsive user interfaces using modern frontend frameworks like React or Angular
• Collaborate with designers, product managers, and backend developers to translate requirements into technical specifications and deliverable features
• Conduct code reviews to ensure best practices and maintainable code standards are upheld across the team
• Optimize application performance and address any technical issues or bugs that arise
• Mentor and provide guidance to junior developers within the pod, fostering their growth and development
• Participate in daily stand-ups and sprint planning meetings to align on priorities and progress
• Implement and maintain automated testing to ensure code reliability and quality
