Requirements

• React Proficiency: At least 3 years of hands-on experience with React (including hooks, context, and state management)
• JavaScript & TypeScript: Strong skills in JavaScript and familiarity with TypeScript concepts
• Web Fundamentals: Solid understanding of browser mechanics, performance, security, and best practices
• At least 5 years of experience on large-scale projects

Responsibilities

• Own the Frontend: Develop new features and maintain existing components using React (hooks, state management, form builders, etc.)
• Collaborate closely with our Product, Data Science, and Design teams to build well-researched, high-impact features—our devs have plenty of product ownership!
• Partner with QA & MLOps to ensure our applications stay happy and healthy
• Solve challenging technical problems and work with complex data to deliver user-friendly experiences
• Mentor junior engineers (and keep learning a ton yourself!)
• Dive into internal meetups and discussions on a variety of software engineering topics

Preferred Qualifications

• Micro-Frontends: Experience or knowledge in micro-frontends is a plus
• Testing Enthusiasm: Experience with unit testing or end-to-end testing frameworks (like Jest or Cypress) is beneficial
• Backend Know-How: Familiarity with Ruby on Rails and relational databases (e.g., PostgreSQL) is highly appreciated—even though our primary focus here is on frontend!
