Senior Frontend Engineer

Summary

Puzzle is looking for a Front End Engineer to help architect and build core features and libraries for the user facing app of their next generation financial data platform. The engineer will work directly with the product and design team to deliver on financial, auditing, and user growth features. They will build complex user interfaces and components, contribute to shared libraries and components, collaborate with full stack and backend engineers, and provide critical support and independent review of teammates' work.

Requirements

• 6+ years as a software engineer
• Experience with modern front-end development frameworks and tools (React, TypeScript, Next.js)
• Experience building and interfacing with REST and GraphQL APIs
• Experience in design thinking methodology in UI development
• Experience in a modern programming language
• A general understanding of database design and analytics

Responsibilities

• Work directly with product and design team to deliver on core financial, auditing, and user growth features
• Build complex user interfaces and components to allow users to view and interact with their financial data efficiently
• Contribute to shared libraries and components used throughout the frontend codebase
• Collaborate with full stack and backend engineers to architect and understand full feature flows

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with accounting and/or financial systems
• Startup experience
