Senior Frontend Engineer

Requirements

• Possess a degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent experience
• Have 4+ years of experience building and supporting software applications
• Be proficient in JavaScript, TypeScript, React, and React Native
• Be able to execute front-end and mobile development throughout the entire development process, driving continuous improvements through modern tools and frameworks for frequent releases
• Have a strong commitment to automated testing
• Demonstrate outstanding communication and interpersonal skills

Responsibilities

• Develop high-quality software with comprehensive documentation, test coverage, logging, and metrics
• Collaborate with the engineering team on design, planning, and code reviews
• Partner with product stakeholders on ideation, feedback, and solution refinement
• Continuously learn and stay updated with new technologies

Preferred Qualifications

• Have experience with Expo EAS
• Have experience with native iOS/Android code (Objective-C, Swift, Java, or Kotlin)
• Be familiar with Google Cloud Platform (GCP)/Firebase frameworks (Cloud Firestore, Cloud Identity, Dynamic Links, etc.)
• Have experience with medical, healthcare, and/or population health data, especially familiarity with FHIR and other healthcare data standards
• Have experience working in a HIPAA-regulated environment or other regulated industry, supporting data security and privacy controls
