Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in web application development using JavaScript, TypeScript, or other relevant language
- Experience with one or more front-end web frameworks such as React, Vue, or Angular
- Experience using Typescript in a production setting
- Experience in one or more general-purpose programming languages (e.g. JavaScript, Typescript, Python, Java, Go, Scala)
- Deep experience with a modern web stack, whether it's Javascript bundlers, React internals, etc.Β You've debugged it, you've improved it, you can imagine doing it better
- Familiar with software engineering best practices such as unit testing, code reviews, design, and documentation
- Passion for developing scalable, well-designed software that improves peopleβs lives globally
- Strong organizational skills, the ability to prioritize tasks and keep projects on schedule
- Entrepreneurial spirit. You are self-directed, innovative, and biased towards action in fast-paced environments. You love to build new things and thrive in ambiguity and even failure
- Excellent communication skills. You collaborate effectively with teams in a fully remote environment and discuss complex topics with technical and non-technical audiences
Responsibilities
- Partner and collaborate with partner teams to deliver high quality UI components
- Tackle tough design and product problems
- Work cross-functionally with product, design, and other engineering counterparts to execute product and business strategies and build novel products and features that our users will love
- Communicate effectively, within the team and across disciplines. Work closely with product managers and designers to craft compelling user experiences
- Contribute meaningfully to our teamβs strategy. We give everyone a seat at the table and encourage active participation in planning our future. Donβt just come along for the ride
- Participate in product reviews and team meetings, providing technical insight. Help scope, estimate, and prioritize between conflicting needs
- Foster a healthy engineering culture and collaborate with other engineers
