Senior Frontend Engineer

Summary

Join SMG Swiss Marketplace Group AG as a Senior Front End Engineer to develop and design software, mentor peers, and contribute to code reviews and Front End Guild. Work asynchronously with a distributed team across multiple locations.

Requirements

• Engineers are expected to be proficient in their technology, IDE & operating system of choice
• Strong experience in modern JavaScript tech e.g React, NodeJS, working with APIs
• Working knowledge of CI/CD processes
• Experience with working in distributed systems running on Kubernetes on AWS would be a plus
• Strong proficiency in JavaScript and TypeScript
• Strong proficiency with React
• Familiarity with state management libraries (e.g., Redux, MobX)
• Knowledge of testing frameworks (e.g., Jest, React Testing Library, Playwright)
• Familiarity of microservices architecture
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
• Ability to work in a collaborative, agile environment
