Senior Frontend Engineer

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent practical experience
• 5+ years of deep frontend development experience, specifically with React and TypeScript
• Strong track record building scalable, maintainable, and performant user interfaces
• Ability to navigate ambiguity, take ownership, and drive projects forward independently—from concept through deployment
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, capable of effectively engaging with diverse teams and stakeholders and translating technical decisions into clear tradeoffs

Responsibilities

• Designing, developing, and deploying robust and intuitive user-facing web applications using React and TypeScript
• Collaborating closely with designers, product managers, and backend engineers to create seamless user experiences
• Optimizing frontend performance, accessibility, and infrastructure to ensure responsiveness and reliability
• Engage in architectural discussions, providing insights and recommendations on frontend best practices and emerging technologies
• Mentor and coach junior engineers, promoting a culture of technical excellence, collaboration, and continuous improvement
• Participate proactively in team planning, strategy sessions, and code reviews to enhance our technology stack and overall product quality

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working closely with backend technologies; familiarity with Django and Django REST Framework is a significant plus
• Experience with frontend infrastructure, performance monitoring, and optimization is beneficial
• A passion for mentoring, pair programming, and raising the bar for the entire engineering team
