Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or equivalent experience
• 5+ years of work experience in front end web development
• Knowledge of GraphQL and REST APIs
• Understanding and Respect for Diversity and Inclusion

Responsibilities

• Designing and writing clean, testable, and maintainable code
• Delivering new features, fixing defects, and improving the existing codebase
• Mentoring team members and modeling best coding practices
• Optimize application for maximum speed and scalability
• Ensure the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs
• Research new technology and ideas to enhance website and commerce functions
• Working closely with other Developers, Product Managers, Designers, Testers and Business Stakeholders to understand and gather requirements

Preferred Qualifications

• Proficient understanding of HTML5, CSS3, including W3C validation and compliance
• CSS pre-processor LESS and SASS
• Front-end frameworks with strong working knowledge of Bootstrap
• Client-side scripting and JavaScript frameworks, including jQuery and React
• Working knowledge with Next.JS is a must have
• Cross-browser compatibility issues and debugging methodology
• Code versioning tools, such as Git
• Write unit, integration and end-to-end tests
• Ability to implement responsive design across all devices and platforms, and debug complex layout/styling issues
