Senior Frontend Engineer, Automation Platform

Summary

Join Airbnb's Community Support Platform team as a senior Frontend engineer to own and improve the tooling layer of a large-scale conversational AI platform, contributing to the success of many AI-driven products for our community.

Requirements

• 5+ years industry experience
• Bachelor’s and/or Master’s degree in CS, or 3+ years industry experience with PHD degree in CS
• Experience or desire to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams with design, product and operation partners
• Experience architecting FE systems
• Experience building large web applications using Javascript/Typescript
• Experience with modern JavaScript/Typescript libraries and tooling (e.g. React, graphql

Responsibilities

• Drive the design, implementation and improvement of a drag-and-drop UI tool for the conversational AI platform
• Collaborate with different Airbnb infrastructure and platform teams to design and build scalable and reliable tooling and systems
• Supporting different product teams to better design and build cutting-edge automation solutions to improve the efficiency of ambassadors at Airbnb
• Collaborate with cross-functional working groups (frontend/backend/ML engineers, design, product and operation teams) to design and build end-to-end product solutions to improve customer experience
