Senior Frontend Engineer (React)

Summary

The job is for a senior frontend developer at Shape.Construction, a company focused on digitizing the construction industry. The role involves creating a digital backbone for construction organizations and improving workflows through a ReactJS PWA platform. The ideal candidate should have experience with Typescript/JavaScript, writing tests, using CSS pre/post-processors, and be able to communicate in English.

Requirements

• Write and talk in English, it is the main language we communicate and collaborate in
• Have more than 3 years of professional experience using React or Next.js
• Make tests a priority by writing tests (unit and functional) and creating testable code
• Use CSS pre/post-processors like Tailwind, Post CSS, Styled Components, LESS, SASS and/or others

Preferred Qualifications

• Develop great user interfaces using semantic documents with HTML
• Identify bottlenecks, use tools to diagnose and refactor code
• Go full stack and, depending on the project, either dive in the Rails services to add a new endpoint or modify behavior
