Requirements

• Proficiency in React
• Possess a deep curiosity and a strong desire to explore, understand, and solve complex problems
• Thrive in challenging situations and find innovative solutions even in the face of obstacles
• Demonstrate broad and adaptable engineering prowess
• Be adept at giving and receiving feedback
• Work efficiently in a remote setting and align with core hours (9 AM to 2 PM PT)
• Fluency in English, both written and spoken

Responsibilities

• Advance our product's capabilities by building and refining features that directly impact our users
• Deliver software solutions that are reliable and scalable, reviewing and improving existing code and designing new features with fault tolerance and efficiency
• Integrate industry best practices into our workflows by researching new methodologies and sharing insights with the team
• Systematically enhance our product's availability by applying distributed systems best practices, identifying potential issues, and developing robust solutions
• Collaborate with other skilled engineers across infrastructure, infosec, and other domains to build a strong technical foundation
• Lead projects from start to finish, working with engineering and product managers to ensure quality, adherence to deadlines, and effective stakeholder management

Preferred Qualifications

• Familiarity with React Native, Expo, or EAS
• Prior experience in regulated, fault-intolerant industries
• Experience in developing consumer-facing products in environments requiring high reliability and fault tolerance
• Familiarity with collaboration and development tools commonly used in remote work environments
