Senior Full Stack Developer

Summary

Join Opinion Stage's small, remote-first team as an experienced full-stack developer. You'll play a key role in building and enhancing our SaaS platform for creating engaging quizzes, forms, and surveys used by major clients like NBC and Microsoft. This position requires 5+ years of development experience, including 3+ years with Ruby on Rails, and expertise in various technologies. You'll lead feature development from front-end to back-end, focusing on quality and best practices. The role is 100% remote, aligning with European working hours. You'll be responsible for building the next generation of our platform, enhancing functionality, and resolving technical issues.

Requirements

• Be an experienced full-stack developer with 5+ years of development experience
• Have 3+ years of hands-on Ruby on Rails development experience
• Have experience in relevant technologies: Ruby, Rails, JavaScript (ES6) + any modern front-end framework (e.g React), SQL Databases (e.g. MySQL, PostgreSQL), Amazon AWS
• Be able to lead the development of features end-to-end (front end, back end, database, etc.)
• Focus on quality and best practice coding
• Have good communication skills in English and in general
• Be ready to do long-term challenging tasks
• Be highly reliable and trustworthy

Responsibilities

• Be a key member of a small team leading the platform development
• Build the next generation of the Opinion Stage builder
• Work on enhancing the platform functionality and integrations
• Keep up with new development technologies and best practices
• Develop new features end-to-end
• Improve existing features
• Resolve technical customer issues
