Summary
Join a pre-launch tech company, backed by Atomic VC, as a Senior Full Stack Engineer. You will be a foundational member of the engineering team, taking on technical leadership and architecture ownership. Requirements
- 6+ years of professional software development experience
- Expertise in backend development, system design, and distributed systems
- Strong proficiency in TypeScript and either Rust or Python
- Experience working with cloud platforms (AWS preferred) and Infrastructure as Code (Pulumi a plus)
- Deep understanding of databases (PostgreSQL preferred) and data modeling
- Strong problem-solving, debugging, and analytical skills

Responsibilities
- Develop a deep understanding of our vision, the complexities of our business model, and the challenges faced by our patients and care team
- Work directly with our pilot partners, clinicians, and patients to build elegant technical solutions that address their needs
- Define and drive both the medium and long-term technical strategy, balancing business needs, user feedback, and startup agility
- Own the architecture across the stack (backend, frontend, and infrastructure), ensuring scalability, reliability, and flexibility
- Lead the development and launch of our minimum viable product (MVP), with a strong emphasis on backend systems
- Establish a data engineering strategy to unify disparate data sources into an analysis-ready state
- Make foundational improvements to our infrastructure and lay out the medium-term technical roadmap
- Continue to develop and Identify practical applications and use cases for LLMs and related AI advancements to enhance our platform
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in early-stage startups (Pre-seed, Seed, or Series A)
- Familiarity with healthcare data standards (HL7, FHIR, claims data)
- Experience working in regulated environments (security, compliance, PHI)
- Hands-on experience with Rust in production
- Exposure to Machine Learning models in production
- Collaborating with Product as a thought partner to develop innovative solutions from ambiguous requirements
