Senior Full Stack Engineer

Summary

Join Lithic, a company building card issuing and payment infrastructure, as a Senior Full Stack Engineer. You will collaborate with product and design teams to create user-friendly experiences for our customer and bank portals, handling billions of transactions annually. This role involves building and improving features, conducting code reviews, establishing best practices, and mentoring junior engineers. You will need full-stack/backend experience, particularly in Node/Express or other languages, and proficiency in TypeScript, HTML, CSS, and a modern frontend framework. Requirements

• Have full-stack/backend experience, particularly in Node/Express, or know additional languages beyond TypeScript
• Be comfortable with TypeScript, HTML, and CSS, and have knowledge of at least one modern frontend framework (e.g. Vue)
• Demonstrate experience in owning production features from start to finish (and beyond), and collaborating with others on your team, the rest of the engineering team, and the rest of the business to make a project happen
• Have a well-honed ability to dive into a codebase, understand it, improve it, and build on top of it
• Demonstrate experience in helping less-experienced engineers level up their understanding of and approach to development, and helping the entire team level up their tools and tactics
• Have an understanding of the balance between perfection and shipping quickly, and always remain open to discussion and new ideas

Responsibilities

• Build new features and improve existing features throughout Lithic’s product - focused on our customer and bank dashboard
• Work with other engineers through thoughtful code reviews, pairing, and other methods
• Build up best practices and improve the codebase to help us keep scaling as a business and as a team while maintaining a high bar of code quality
