Senior Full Stack Engineer

Summary

The job is for a User Onboarding Engineer at Rocket Money, responsible for creating a seamless user experience, working closely with product, marketing, and data teams, and improving business outcomes. The ideal candidate has technical skills in Node/TypeScript, React, GraphQL, Postgres, growth engineering, and enjoys cross-functional teamwork.

Requirements

• Experience working with some combination of Node/TypeScript, React (or similar framework), GraphQL, and Postgres (or similar relational database)
• Enjoy working within cross-functional groups spanning marketing, data, and finance
• Be a student and a teacher, continually seeking to grow as an engineer and help those around you grow as well
• Interested in what you're building, but also why you're building it. Want to see the bigger picture of how the software you're building is benefiting our users
• Experience with growth engineering, including analytics & eventing, A/B testing, MMPs (e.g. Singular, AppsFlyer), CRM (e.g. Braze, Marketo), and/or attribution frameworks (e.g. SKAN, ATT)

Responsibilities

• Creating a seamless experience for new users
• Improving user experience and business outcomes by building new mobile and web onboarding UIs
• Maintaining and improving internal A/B testing systems
• Helping other dev teams understand and leverage data within marketing and analytics stacks
• Integrating a wide range of products to surface insights about user analytics, attribution, engagement, retention, and satisfaction
• Leading investments into the tooling and developer experience of Rocket Money’s technical platform
