Senior Full Stack Engineer

Summary

The job is for a Senior Full-Stack Engineer at Sentium, a UK-based tech scale-up specializing in AI and NLP. The role involves developing and scaling SaaS products with expertise in front-end technologies like HTML, CSS, React, TypeScript, Next.js, and Astro; back-end technologies such as Node.js, Typescript, PostgreSQL, event-driven architectures, OLAP columnar databases, functional programming languages (Scala/Elixir/Clojure/Effect-ts), Kubernetes, networking, storage, and security principles; and a demonstrable portfolio of projects or contributions in full-stack web development.

Requirements

• Strong proficiency in HTML, CSS, and React
• Expertise with TypeScript
• Familiarity with modern frameworks like Next.js and Astro
• Must haves: Expert-level knowledge of Node.js & Typescript, Expert knowledge of PostgreSQL, Experience with event-driven architectures
• Nice to haves: Experience working with OLAP columnar databases, Experience with functional programming (Scala / Elixir / Clojure / Effect-ts), Infrastructure Engineering: Experience working with Kubernetes, Proficiency with networking, storage and security principles

Responsibilities

Participate in the full-cycle development of SaaS products, from architecture design through to implementation, testing, and deployment

Preferred Qualifications

A demonstrable portfolio of projects or contributions that demonstrates a deep understanding of full-stack web development
